I first stumbled up K9 Optima about five years ago on TikTok. Josh’s style immediately impressed me. His process is about understanding the root of the dog’s issues from a psychological aspect. Unlike countless “social media dog trainers” that have exploded on the scene since COVID, he wasn’t about treating the symptoms of behavior issues via suppression. He was, and is, about doing the work of peeling back the trauma layers to create meaningful breakthroughs that can change lives; the lives of dogs AND the lives of the humans who love them.
